1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Football Friendlies platform (the "Platform"), operated by Football Friendlies CLG ("Football Friendlies", "we", "our", or "us").
Football Friendlies is a digital platform designed to support the organisation of football-related activities, including but not limited to friendly matches, tournaments, and related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. NATURE AND ROLE OF THE PLATFORM
Football Friendlies operates strictly as a technology facilitator. The Platform enables users to connect, organise, and manage football activities; however, Football Friendlies does not organise, manage, supervise, or control any matches, tournaments, or events listed or conducted through the Platform.
All activities are created, managed, and executed solely by users. Football Friendlies does not act as a governing body, competition organiser, or regulatory authority and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or successful execution of any activity arranged through the Platform.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that Football Friendlies is not a party to any agreement between users and bears no responsibility for the outcome of any activity.
3. USER ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
To access certain features of the Platform, users must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
Football Friendlies reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at its sole discretion, including where a user breaches these Terms or engages in conduct that may harm the Platform or other users.
4. USER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Platform supports multiple user roles, including but not limited to coaches, tournament hosts, clubs, leagues, associations, referees, players, and advertisers. Each user agrees to use the Platform responsibly and in accordance with their role.
Coaches organising friendly matches are solely responsible for arranging, confirming, and managing those matches, including communication with other participants and ensuring that players are appropriately supervised.
Tournament hosts are entirely responsible for the organisation, management, and execution of tournaments, including scheduling, fixtures, venues, participant communication, and financial arrangements. Where a tournament involves payment, the host assumes full responsibility for collecting payments, managing funds, handling refunds, and resolving disputes. Football Friendlies does not participate in or control any financial or operational aspect of tournaments beyond providing the Platform and facilitating payment processing.
Clubs, leagues, and associations are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information they provide and for managing their own competitions and structures in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Football Friendlies does not validate or enforce compliance with governing bodies.
Referees using the Platform act independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Football Friendlies. They are solely responsible for their services, conduct, and decisions.
Players participate in activities arranged through the Platform at their own risk. Where players are minors, it is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to provide consent and ensure appropriate supervision.
Advertisers are solely responsible for the content, legality, and accuracy of any advertisements placed on the Platform.
5. PAYMENTS, FEES, AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Platform may facilitate payments through third-party providers such as Stripe. By using payment features, users agree to be bound by the terms of those third-party providers.
Football Friendlies may charge platform fees, commissions, or subscription charges for use of certain features. These charges will be clearly indicated where applicable.
Football Friendlies does not hold funds on behalf of users and does not guarantee payment collection. All financial transactions, including refunds and disputes, are the responsibility of the users involved, particularly the organisers or hosts of events.
6. REFUNDS AND DISPUTES
All disputes arising from matches, tournaments, or financial transactions must be resolved directly between users. Football Friendlies does not mediate disputes, provide arbitration services, or assume responsibility for refunds, cancellations, or disagreements between users.
7. SAFETY, RISK, AND LIABILITY
Football activities involve inherent physical risks. By using the Platform and participating in any activity arranged through it, users acknowledge and accept full responsibility for their participation.
Football Friendlies shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or harm arising from participation in any activity organised through the Platform. Responsibility for safety, supervision, and compliance with applicable laws rests entirely with the users organising and participating in those activities.
8. USER CONTENT AND PLATFORM USE
Users may create and upload content, including but not limited to fixtures, tournament details, communications, and data. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of such content.
Football Friendlies does not verify user-generated content and reserves the right to remove or modify content at its discretion.
Users must not misuse the Platform, engage in fraudulent activity, or behave in a manner that may harm other users or the Platform.
9. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
Football Friendlies provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free functionality, or the accuracy of information on the Platform.
We shall not be liable for any loss of data, missed opportunities, or disruptions resulting from system downtime or technical issues.
10. PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIE POLICY
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and how cookies are used on the Platform.
By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with these policies.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including its design, content, and functionality (excluding user-generated content), are owned by Football Friendlies. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Football Friendlies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption arising from the use of the Platform.
13. INDEMNITY
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Football Friendlies from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their use of the Platform, their activities, or any breach of these Terms.
14. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES
Football Friendlies reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the Platform.
It is the responsibility of users to review these Terms regularly. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
15. TERMINATION
Football Friendlies reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, without notice, where a user breaches these Terms or engages in conduct deemed harmful to the Platform or its users.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Football Friendlies does not provide support, mediation, or resolution services in relation to disputes between users, including but not limited to tournaments, matches, payments, or refunds. All such matters must be resolved directly between the parties involved.
18. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
